You’ve all probably been waiting — waiting to see if Drake would shoot back at Common after letting loose his “Stay Schemin” Remix. Unfortunately, it’s all been for naught, as Drake recently revealed that he would absolutely not respond to the Chicago emcee. Continue Reading →
Feeling the brand new year approaching, Chevy Woods has decided to let loose a remix of Drake’s “Over My Dead Body” instrumental from the “Take Care” album. I can actually say that Chevy does a decent job on his rendition of the song, and doesn’t stray to far from the original track. Word on the street is that there will be an aptly titled “New Years Day” track dropping soon as well. Continue Reading →
Big Boi absolutely takes over Futures track “Ain’t No Way Around It” with his signature flow that has made him one of the greats in the game. Young Jeezy is also brought around to keep him even further away from releasing the highly fabled “Thug Motivation 103″. Continue Reading →
No, the good Lord hasn’t opened the musical heavens and allowed these wonderful acts to sit in a studio and mesh their sounds. What did happen here, however, is that the Florida based production company Urban Noize have done the honors of remixing a few tracks with the three artists at work. Take a listen.

TI hops on the release as everyone has been doing. Thing is this sounds official and could well start an official remix to the single. Continue Reading →
Jumping over the MMG “Imma Boss” instrumental, Fabolous drops some bars filled with word twisting acronyms, metaphors, immitating Nicki Minaj, and everything else Fab is famous for. It’s refreshing to NOT hear Meek Mill yell at me on this beat.
Apparently, the Boss Rick Ross was due to make an appearance on the track “She Will” from Tha Carter IV album. Unfortunately for his royalties, Rick Ross’ verse won’t make the tracklist when the album drops sometime in the future. Good or bad move?
I was very impressed with Calvin Harris’s first single “Bounce” with Kelis; so it was definitely going to take a lot to get his second single to catch my attention. Lo and behold, he did it again. Check out the remix of “Feel So Close” with Nero laying down some serious dubstep.
We’ve all heard this track a few hundred times over (possibly against our will), but there is something about the song slowed down that makes it bearable to listen to. Take a listen and see what we’re saying.
Is he the first rapper ever to have a name that sounds like it should be their Twitter username? Drew32 is a dope rapper who has actually been putting out a few mixtapes under the radar. His strengths include punchlines from past and recent popular culture, and he actually has a self-procliamied sound similar to that of
This has been a long time coming. After releasing the original star studded track a few months ago, this song has conquered the airwaves, and spawned thousands of covers. This however is the official remix including a whole new set of features including the R&B stylings of Trey Songz on the hook. Which version is your favorite?
Yea, we’re kind of late on this one, but I’m pretty sure you were just catching up on all the different remixes anyway. The message conveyed in the video is shown clearly at times, as her near lifeless body struggles to get the words filled with sorrow out of her mouth. Continue Reading →
If you liked No Ceilings, then you’re definitely going to like this. Weezy goes in over Meek Mills’ popular “Tupacs Back” instrumental (as if everybody else hasn’t). However, this will be on his upcoming mixtape, Sorry 4 The Wait, in which he will be jacking even more industry beats. NICE.
YC’s ‘Racks’ remix finally receives video treatment. Check out the rexarrowfilms directed clip above. Continue Reading →
UPDATED: OPM was mixing around earlier today and put together the verses from both Drake and The Weeknd. Just yesterday I saw a tweet saying how similar The Weeknd and Drake are in terms of their approaches to music, and how pointless it would be to have one act feature on the song of the other. While that hasn’t quite came to fruition, The Weeknd re-imagines the recently released track “Trust Issues”. Singing? Check. Rapping? Check.
