Just wanted to post an awesome .GIF image I found on the net that takes the Nas words and encrypts images of every album that he’s put out into it. It’s pretty tight if you are a die-hard Nas fan. Feel free to do one of your favorite rapper and we will put it on our site to showcase.

Over the weekend I had a chance to checkout Ez’s mixtape release event at the City of Gods Boutique in Baltimore. It was a dope event, and I was blown away by the energy in the building and how the crowd reacted to Ez. I chopped it up with my folks from the Black Colla camp, and they have a lot of projects coming up for 2012 especially since their other artist, female rapper “Jai” is working on new material with Ez. S/O to the homie DJ Reddz & DJ Lil Mic for holding it down as well. P.S…..whoever that 4 person band was playing behind Ez…..someone needs to sign them ASAP. They killed it!!
When I first brought A Tribe Called Quest’s “The Love Movement” I didn’t even go to sleep that night. I was in the room partying reciting the words to “Find A Way” which is one of my favorite music videos. That whole cd was my SHIT in 4th grade. I purchased it at a spot on University Blvd in Maryland called Willies when it was still around. But this track “Moms” always stuck out to me because it was no lyrics, just straight music. Thats when I knew the power of instrumentals. I swear I was on a natural high for about 3 weeks straight blasting this joint in my room and on my Sony Discman ahaha.
It’s that time again. The good folks over at FADER have done the leg work to dig up random, and rather off beat facts revealed in Drake‘s recently released leaked “Take Care” album.
Unfortunately I feel that there is a misprint here as they fail to include Jimi Hendrix as one of Drake’s mentors. Drake loves him some Jimi (pun intended).

Not exactly a music video, but after much anticipation, Kid Cudi will be releasing the short film “MANIAC!” based on inspiration from the track that appeared on his last album.

The Brixton 2011 Holiday lookbook has been something I’ve been looking forward to for awhile now. They do deliver quality materials like usual, however the low prices of past collections have not made a return. Being as the line is designed for the California scene, some of the pieces are catered specifically to their weather pattern. Take a look after the break, and cop some of the gear right here!
Forget that Floyd Mayweather and 50 Cent are in the commercial, it’s all about Mike Tyson. Of course this commercial is hilarious in a way we have never seen Mike Tyson before. Continue Reading →
Stepping away from their staple graphic designs, for the 2011 Holiday collection OBEY is going with a much more traditional style of wear. Plenty of layers wrapped in popular patterns such as plaid and camouflage. There is also an openness to both skinny and standard leg bottoms, while the tops favor a more fit and tapered look. Earlier today, Young Jeezy made it known that his highly anticipated album, TM103 would be coming out December 20th of this year. While we were all skeptical, it looks like he’s forreal this time. The along with the album artwork, the project is also being subtitled “Hustlerz Ambition”.
After releasing a few tracks to tease his fans, Wale has given us the artwork that will appear on his second studio album titled Ambition. The simple cover featuring Wale in a plain white t-shirt against a white background is seemingly symbolic of the message conveyed through the albums title. Continue Reading →
A few concept artwork’s have been floating around for awhile now, but here is the official piece that will cover Drake’s forthcoming second studio album Take Care. A very minimalistic design similar to that of Kid Cudi’s MOTM2 album.
