Do you remember that time when singers were taking one or two years until the release of their next album? Remember when Rihanna said “not focusing on the recording and movie industry“, it seems that the Barbadian singer has decided to going out of focus and return to the recording studio to shape what will be her seventh studio album that could come later this year (as is still common).
This time the “Where Have You Been” singer has been recording in a studio in London with the French producer, deejay and remixer David Guetta, British Calvin Harris and Dutch producer Nicky Romero. Also in the studio, the creator of hits, the songwriters Bonnie McKee and Kelly Sheehan.
On July 30, MTV.co.uk confirmed that Rihanna is working with French superstar deejay and record producer David Guetta on her new album, producer Sean Garrett has confirmed. Garrett, who has worked with the likes of Britney Spears, Destiny’s Child and Usher, has told The Daily Star that he’s been in the studio creating a “mish-mash of genres” with Guetta for the Bajan babe’s seventh studio LP. He explained to the newspaper:
“I was in the studio with David doing some stuff for Rihanna recently. He finds inspiration in the things I don’t like, and I get excited by the things he doesn’t like. He wants to be more urban and I want to be more international, so we push each other”
