Unless you’ve been boycotting all forms of social media during the past few months, you have probably run across one of these videos. Some are of better quality than others, but its really the thoughtfulness that counts. Here is our brief list of our Favorite five out of the bunch. NUMBER 5: Shit NIGERIAN PARENTS Say
While the title implies that this video is about ‘Nigerian’ parents, this video can pretty much apply to the parents of any African household. The same nurturing household were you were beat for having an opinion, talking back to your parents, not talking back to your parents, and having life aspirations outside of being a doctor or lawyer.

NUMBER 4: Shit DRAKE Says
Dear Drake, we know that this is hard for you to watch since we are all laughing at you, not with you. While Drake is easily one of the most appreciated artists in the world, he is also one of the easiest targets to poke fun at. So once again Drake, thank you for the constantly sappy lyrics and sporadic hand gestures.

NUMBER 3: Shit SNEAKERHEADS Say
Shoutout to the guys at COMPLEX from this one. We all have that guy on our Twitter timeline that feels the need to call out everybody for buying the re-re-re-rerelease of the newest Jordans (that would probably be me actually). With that said, here is an ode to that one person that would rather have a closet full of shoes, and only one pair of pants for the rest of their lives.

NUMBER 2: Shit DC GIRLS Say
Seeing as ILLVIBES started in the DMV area, we obviously have to pay homage to the area that raised us. The desire to grab a Chipotle Bowl, and the constant need to label everybody and their mother your “bestfriend”. Thank you DMV for the nurturing environment you have bestowed upon us.

NUMBER 1: Shit NOBODY Says
I think this is easily the best out of all of the “Shit ___ Says” memes. While the others are funny because we find ourselves or our friends saying them on the daily basis, this video takes an alternate route. Not one of these statements has been said in common conversation between normal humans, besides the burning of the Nickelback CD. We just cant get enough of those guys.
